Bands 2022
The black metal band ABGLANZ from Goslar, formed in the fall of 2020, deals thematically with the mystical side of nature and its influence on the human individual. The quartet draws inspiration from the deep, dark forests and the rugged mountains of their homeland, as well as from the myths and legends of the Harz region. But also the dark side of the scarred, sick soul of man himself is part of their content.
So Abglanz create with their music spherical, dark sounds that reflect and underline their influences partly driving atmospheric, partly aggressive raging. Currently Abglanz is in the studio for the production of their first release.

Rabid Devilry - the Fury of Death

FFO: Lunar Aurora, Abigor, Katharsis, Nagelfar

Location: Bavarian Forest / Lower Bavaria

In 2013 Drudensang crawled out from the depths of Bavarian Forest, the
border triangle of Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. It emerged
from the band Ravnsvart, which was founded in 2009 by Krámpn.
Drudensang represents the devil worship in combination with the ancient
devilish myths and traditions of bavaria and austria. The focus is on the
Krampus- and Perchtencult, witchcraft and the evil spirits of the twelve
nights between the years (Rauhnächte).
The name Drudensang is made up of the words “Drude”, a witch creature
from the Bavarian Forest, a kind of night alb, and “Sang”, an old german
word for curse, today used as “chant” and “death wail“.
In 2013, the first demo "Rehearsal 1 – Dunkle Tradition" was released.
Further releases (demos, live albums, EPs and splits) followed at regular
intervals.
The first demos were still characterised by a very raw style, which over
the years was refined further and further into the sound that is currently
typical for Drudensang – pure furious Black Metal with an raging old
school style and atmospheric fragments as the perfect soundtrack to the
wild doings and wild hunts of Krampen and Perchten during the
Rauhnächten.
After almost 10 years in 2022, on Walpurgis Night, Drudensang unleashed
their first morbid f

The founders Mats and Ragnar grew up with Bathory`s epic era in their hearts, so it comes as no surprise that their music would somewhat flaunt the influence of their house god Quorthon. So with Bathory`s anthems as their spiritual foundation, they set out to find their creative and unique niche within the epic Viking metal genre.

It all begun 2003 when Mats and Ragnar heeded the call of the one-eyed elder to begin their epic journey and since then they have released fullength albums through I Hate Records, Napalm Records and Cyclone Empire. Each and every release that has been unleashed to the masses has carried the legacy of pure Scandinavian Epic Metal from the heart. During these years Ereb Altor has developed their own unique sound within the Viking Metal genre and the ever increasing fan base is thriving.

In april 2015 the latest Ereb Altor album "Nattramn" saw the light of day. An album that continues on the path set out by the predecessor "fire meets ice" with the more epic side, with huge atmospheres built by echoing choirs from the snow covered mountains which at times are shred apart by fierce and aggressive parts with screams from the darkest forests of Scandinavia creating a dynamic and varied piece of art. The lyrics in the world of Ereb Altor always connects to the inheritance of Scandinavia and Ereb Altor is telling stories from the Norse mythology as well as dark legends that have been told from man to man centuries ago in Sweden.

The Dresden death metal band was founded in 2012 by former STEELCLAD and DONNERSTAHL musician Markus and immediately attracted attention with their first three-song demo. Nevertheless, it took until the summer of 2015 before the highly acclaimed debut "Aurora" was released. On this album, it also proved musically that speed is not always the Saxons' top priority. Unfortunately, the Dresden trio first had to cope with the departure of their guitarist in the following two years and then also had to fill the position of the drummer. When the new line-up was finally in place, new songs were written and quite a few concerts were played before the
pandemic suddenly put all activities of the Saxons on ice. The resulting frustration was discharged in further and more brutal songs, in which the doom portion has been significantly reduced compared to the debut album. With the new album, recorded between the end of 2020 and the spring of
2021, PANZERKREUZER went in search of a label and finally signed with German Democratic Recordings in the fall of 2021. On their second album "October" the Dresdeners now present forty minutes of the best old school death metal and remain lyrically true to their original line.
